Showering Emma

I got to help  Amanda throw a baby shower for my bestie
Emma & Elliott Westwood
 after working on it for months I think everything turned out pretty great for my first party!
Little babe decided to come early so we had a slight advantage with the decorations to make them extra special just for Emma
(Not going to lie, I'm really proud of how great the chalk board turned out. Took a really long time to draw all of it!)

 The guests were able to bring diapers and enter a little raffle to win a prize

we had flowers that Amanda arranged so it smelled really lovely all around the house

 Strawberry salad
 Freash veggies from Katie
Fruit from Kathryn
 Chicken salad sandwiches
 cookies from Kari
{who was also nice enough to help out with pictures of everything when I shoved my camera in her hand! But she really made everything look so magical.}
Brynne brought Branbury Donuts too and somehow I didn't get a pic of those delightful little babies

  My step-mom was nice enough to slave over this amazing cake! practicing for weeks, those flowers are entirely hand made and painted (twice), and she decided to add the second layer the week off the shower. It looked AMAZING and tasted even better {hello, lemon poppyseed might be my new favorite... next to chocolate!}

 We set up a little photo booth to take pictures of every with my little polaroid camera. Then they used the picture and made a scrapbook page with advice or notes to Emma and Elliott. we put them in page protectors and now she has a cute little keepsake from everyone at the shower. Its really fun to add little pages of the babe as he grows this first year and have the advice in back!

 glad so many friends were able to come celebrate this wonderful gal pal and her new babe!
 we copy cat one of Emma's specialties for the thank you treat of chocolate dipped oreo's
I like the think the shower turned out great, Emma loved it, and that everyone had as much fun as I did. Huge thanks to everyone that helped out Amanda and myself by bringing treats, offering idea's and much much more!
 So blessed to know such wonderful women, missed all the ones who couldn't make it.

Emma-
I love that little babe so much! Hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to keep spoiling that little man because I will be pretending like he is my very own! You will be a great mom.
