run time, fun time

spring is in the air and i am loving it! 

yesterday was the Thanksgiving Point 1/2 Marathon, 5K, and Kids 1K Run.

 although we look fabulous, the matching was a happy accident!

emma and myself were determined to beat our time of 35 minutes from last year, and we made it by 2 whole minutes! thats pretty impressive if i do say so myself, and i am not a runner. 

 amanda was supposed to run with us but didnt get signed up so she cheered us on at the finish line, joined us for some tasty kneaders breakfast, signed Judes cast, and the tulips festival which was out in full bloom.

as always i had so much fun with these peeps. Thanks to ike for taking all the pics of us running and stretching! such a great hubbers to support and cheer emma on in all her adventures!

camera time

its like christmas to me right now. since i am such a mature and responsible adult i totally blew my first few pay checks as a working women on a brand new toy for myself!

this is how i felt while opening the huge box
